UGG boots*, TOPSHOP jeans, TOPSHOP knit (old), MONKI shirt, ALEXANDER WANG bag, RIVER ISLAND fedora, ACNE scarf and ASOS coat
As I may or may not have mentioned, I'm not a very good flyer and having just flown a 16 hour round trip, I'm sure you can imagine the panic. One thing I can do panic free is the comfy-but-still-cute outfit for the journey, as when we hopped off at JFK we dropped our bags and went straight out for dinner. It was Mum's first time there so we made the most of it, and it is the city that never sleeps after all!
I've collaborated with UGG on their #myCLASSICstyle campaign (again around NYC time!) to bring you a look I think is suitable for both a long flight and for walking around the Big Apple after, all whilst giving the impression you totally thought about what you put on that morning. When I think of UGG boots I immediately think comfort and warmth, both of which I'll definitely wanted in a sub zero NYC as well as during an eight hour flight!
I've paired these short black classic UGGs with a pair of super skinny jeans, (albeit with a bit of stretch in for in-flight comfort) a chunky black knit and layered up a white flowy shirt tucked underneath. Topped off with my trusty scarf, a big handbag with room for plenty of in-flight entertainment, and of course, a warm coat. Sticking to monochrome instantly looks more 'done' when your face is half asleep so win/win!
What do you think, what do you fly in?
